KEY POINTS

We need to start calling soft skills as power or meta skills
Collaboration is one of the most important meta skills
One way to develop power and meta skills is to experience working with multiple people in a multiple context
Happiness is a very important skill so we need to invest more in it

Torsten Schmeichel

KEY POINTS

We should call soft skills as power skills
Communication, critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, creativity, leadership and digital literacy are fundamental power skills
Human powered/human centered business model is one of our core, but this will probably change in the next years
if we invest in power skills this will help us automatically to find key “future of work” trends

KEY POINTS

Challenge for companies: how to make it work with different cultures and nationalities inside
L&D is a tool, but is it impacting productivity and mindset?
One of the mayor points is how to teach to unlearn old behaviors and thinking
Building resilience across every job level

KEY POINTS

New emotional way of working also to support other leaders
We created some routines to work on empathy or acknowledge the emotions
We need not just to retain capable doers but have also capable facilitators
Those leaders who are still stuck in the standard circle of HR cycle are set for failure

"What I enjoyed a lot was the combination and the different perspectives from all the other speakers because we set up the stage more from a future oriented and power skill perspective" Torsten Schmeichel

"The different perspectives, sectors, countries, cultural contexts help to see your own perspective situation differently" Rohit Shenoy

"My takeaway of today is polyvalence" Gargi Banerjee

"Power skills is my takeaway instead" Ekaterina Panilova
